Membership

To join PTSA, please pick up a membership envelope in the main office, or print an application here, and return to the main office.  The cost is $7 per member or $20 for a family.

Latest News

  • Vaccination forms have been sent home with students, please be on the look out so you can sign your child up to get the flu shot at THS for this upcoming season. Please call the office if you did not receive your form but would like to have your student vaccinated.
  • Open House will be August 25 at 6:00.
  • November 8 will be Parent Teacher Conferences.
  • October 26th, THS will have the famed Dr. Sameer Hinduja speak to the THS community about cyberbullying. Dr. Hinduja is a Professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida Atlantic University and Co-Director of the Cyberbullying Research Center. He is recognized internationally for his groundbreaking work on the subjects of cyberbullying and safe social media use. Be sure to attend this very important lecture.
  • Membership fees to the PTSA have changed this year. Please note that to join the Parents' Association is $7 per person and only $20 per family. The membership monies go directly to  supporting our students and the programs at Tennessee High School.
  • Be sure to visit the membership table at Open House on August 25 to register your Food City card for this school year to THS.

Since 1990, Food City has donated millions to area schools, and helping us help our schools this year is easier than ever! Parents, students, family, and friends can register their individual ValuCards in the checkout line at an area Food City or by using this link.  Once you do, a portion of the money you spend each time you shop at Food City will benefit THS. It's that easy!

The PTSA Mission

• To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship;
• To raise the standards of home life;
• To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth;
• To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate   intelligently in the education of children and youth; and
• To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
